1. Who we are

My Meadow is a habit-tracking and personal productivity application operated by Cerberissium Pty Ltd, a company incorporated in South Africa ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@cerberissium.com.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using My Meadow at my-meadow.net or any associated application ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Description of the Service

My Meadow is a subscription-based web application that helps users track habits, manage tasks and reminders, maintain lists, and receive AI-powered guidance from a personalised in-app guide. Features include:

• Habit creation, scheduling, and streak tracking
• Task and reminder management
• A visual garden that grows as habits are maintained
• An AI-powered personal guide (available on paid plans)
• A collaborative garden feature for shared use

4. Accounts and registration

To use My Meadow you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

My Meadow offers both a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are processed through our third-party payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and manages all billing, payments, and tax compliance on our behalf.

• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.
• Monthly plan: Billed at USD 7.00 per month.
• Annual plan: Billed at USD 70.00 per year (equivalent to 2 months free).
• Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible in the app under Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@cerberissium.com within 14 days.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price changes via the email address on your account.

6. AI features and usage limits

Paid subscribers have access to an AI-powered personal guide. This feature is subject to a monthly usage allowance. When the allowance is reached the AI guide pauses until the start of the next billing month. The allowance resets automatically on the 1st of each month.

AI-generated responses are provided for personal support and encouragement only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Always seek qualified professional advice for serious health or wellbeing concerns.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
• Transmit harmful, abusive, or offensive content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding within My Meadow — including but not limited to the visual garden, guide characters, and interface — is the intellectual property of Cerberissium Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Content you create within the Service (your habits, tasks, notes) remains yours. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep My Meadow available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend the Service with or without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

We will notify subscribers of significant changes via email with reasonable advance notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cerberissium Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
